According to the price tag on the package I got this lamp at Lansing Buildall which was later bought by Rona. I've always found that "High Technology Halogen" part on the package interesting

Some of these Chinese lamps last for 500 hours, with severe blackening. Of course most just die quickly, and often the end caps come loose and burn the holder ends. I converted my fixture to 70W MH, same light output with a lot less heat, and a gentle startup over around a minute.
