How challenging can it be to replace 1 light switch to a double, and control a second light with it separately ?

For a 1st, no, the conduit does not go from the swich to the box, and from the box to the light. It makes a path between 3 connection boxes on its way. So this is the 2nd box. I fished the wire (and while at it, why not 2 wires just in case) from the 1st to this, but i can't get the tape to go between this and the 3rd box, it just gets stuck in the conduit

Very soon to find out why

This is how stuff is done when idiots are doing it. I ended blowing it all with a hammer and redoing the boxes and the wall in this spot

I don't like to see such electricians jobs.

I"m don't speak english well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

Hate sloppyness! Here in the US it would not pass code because of over stuffed junction box. As there is a limit how many conductor per box volume same as conduit fill as well.

Gotta love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.

I was asked to fix something like this once, a 1940's concrete house with all the cabling in metal conduit in the concrete. The owner had gotten is living room light in series with the light in the garage. All the wires were black. I had to reference back to the neutral bar in the switchboard to work out what he had done!
