There is a lighthouse near the cable car of Stella Maris, but it currently don't operating.
In the 90s, when it was operated, it had a MH lamp, and I think that the lamp was a simple general puropse american BT56 1500W probestart MH lamps, because of the long time that it took to warm up, which is too long for MH lamps that would more suitable for lighthouses, which are usually HMI stage lighting lamps (Which have an almost instant run-up time and an instant hot restrike capabilities).
In Acre city, the marina have a smaller lighthouse which is still in use, that have a simple Na-Sc MH lamp of unknown wattage.
In Kibbutz Ein-Gev, where the disco ships sometimes reaches, there is a LED lighthouse .
