Another Xmas lamp from Julien, but with a difference and a clever transformation. Look carefully and you will see a small bulb inserted to replace the burnt out filament. A very well made job and you could almost miss it, more so if it was a painted glass. The cap MES gives nothing away. There was a collector in London who had very many lamps and would do this, he had literally thousands of fairy lights and he showed how he did this. Ray Hickman is no longer with us passing several years ago. I know he knew Mr Tye from London and Wonder who else knew him maybe James?
