How common are LPS lamps in Poland? Although LPS lamps are very populair in the Netherlands i have never seen a Philips FGS 224 (Residium) lantern with a SOX lamp, all of them have here PL-L lamps.

A residium lantern with a LSP is called XGS224.

FGS224 is the name for residium with CFL.

CFL are popular but there is a trend to use HPS lamps almost everywhere. Besides CFL do not occur in such fixtures like this one above. Here it is a LPS lamp (in other words SOX). Both fixtures: Residium FGS 223 and Residium FGS 224 are available with SOX or PL-L lamps. In other words In Poland there is no XGS224 fixture. In Polish Philips catalogue there are only FGS 223 and FGS 224 available with SOX or PL-L

Nice, a Residium running SOX. These are unusual in Britain too, although Hertfordshire County Council apparently like them. If you see a Residium in Britain it is normally compact fluorescent, although even these versions have not become really widespread because compact fluorescent doesn't seem to be so popular. I'd like to see some SOX ones make more of an appearance.
