This is the Kowhai 100 I found in New Zealand back in December 2013 after a wait of 25-30 years for one of these. The bowl is nearly fully repaired and is now structurally sound after it was shot at whilst still in service. Despite the damage, this bowl is still the clearest example of one of these I've ever seen.

BTW, Kowhai (pronounced co-fye) is the Maori word for a native tree in New Zealand which bears yellow flowers, the light colour from low pressure sodium lamps is also yellow, hence the name that EC Gough Ltd gave this lantern. The original Kowhai used 100w lamps which were later downrated to 90w but the Kowhai 100 name remained and is stamped into the casting on the top of the canopy.

Thanks mate, the cracks are still there but sealed up plus I've repaired the holes with silicon, much tidier than the original effort. I just need to shape that half round piece for the refactor panel now.
