Probably burning 24/7 where the Mercury is becoming starving leaving some halide salt still ionised. Once if this power is interrupted, it will no longer strike.

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Could be burning 24/7 though

Its still pretty though and TBH I like the light pink of near EOL MH lamps than HPS really

LED streetlights are flipping Yussless!!!! I'd may as well be in the dark!!!!!

Flaming Nora, where are SOX, SON, MH and MV when you need them

Pink MHs? Ticking time bombs here. Don't have long before they pop. Or simply crack and leak into the outer harmlessly.

There was a Venture PSMH that went pink one night. The next night it was dead. I've seen the bulbs. Most simply cracked at the ends.

Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech?
LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).

LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

I've seen probe start MH lamps turn pink and stay that way for quite a while. I've rarely seen PSMH do it and when I have, it very shortly died after that (like the next day it was dead) but probe start MHs I've seen them go a couple months as a nice rich pink color, especially when they're used 24/7. At Electric Boat, where I worked as a summer intern during high school (they made navy submarines) they had MH low bays (Either 250W or 400W MH) and some were nice and new and bright while others were very dimmed out and bluer than the new lamps (I honestly thought some might be MVs being how dim they were but the color rendering was still better than clear MV) and once in awhile one would turn pink or green. Maybe one or two green lamps the whole time I was there though but quite a few pink ones. The lamps ran 24/7 too (except during power outages).

I think its at the stage when one of the MH lamp EOLS they will replace it for this nasty LEDisease equivalent (fortunately with better reflector/refractor instead of the metal 'cone' shaped reflector versions http://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=11921&pos=4&pid=134002

Pity because last time I went to this section to see all of the Prismapacks with working and near EOL lamps
