Nice lamp, I like the older style GE boxes like this, an 835 PL-S is something I am yet to get.
835 is my favourite tri-phosphor colour temp too

They were good lamps. I have a few PL-C's in Tungsram branded boxes, and there might still be some more in the shops around. Not in 835 though.. The only lamp where 835 really caught on is 2D

Hmmm, now when I think it I don't remember even seeing 2d's much more anything else than 3500K.

Btw, is there any manufacturer that still makes these pl lamps in 9w and 11w at 3500K?

Some "840" lamps look quite a bit below 4000K. But nothing intentional 835 i know of
