The ELECTRIC PICKLE!!!!!Did this in one of our shops-electrodes in a pickle-then connected to a variac.Made a weird,greenish-yellow light-sodium in the pickle making the yellow-green of the pickle. Was short lived-didn't eat the "bulb" though,it was pretty burnt out!

XD, i was out of full pickles so i used the kind you'd put on a sandwich, it was a stack of three, with a wire going through the middle and the outside of the screwbase touching the outer part of the pickle ... its a fun experiment, if i ever get a full pickle i will do that and see how long it lasts in a HID fixture lol maybe i'll put it in the 1000W flood lmao... i'll be ima have a mess to clean up but ehhh sounds funny
