I have seen this 105 year old Shelby bulb at the Livermore fire station in person ;-)

Today, such lamp would be scrapped by decent manufacturer as defective - because it gave much less light then designed for... Good "750 hour" lamp will not last more then 1500 hours - otherwise it mean the filament is underdriven and the efficacy too low. That's law of physics. The perfect quality lamps are those, when from larger batch all fail very short just after their rated lifetime - it mean, they are run so hot to give as much as possible light, then their (for given efficacy/temperature) hypothetical (assuming ideal manufacturing process) and rated life do not differ. That mean, then their real manufacturing do not differ from the ideal one.

I havent seen it in person but its the Shelby light bulb in Livermore. Who knows, it might still be burning another 100 years from now :bulbman:

Hoping to get there maybe next year, I was unaware of its existence the last time I was in California  :sadbulb:
