My oldest fluorescent lamp is a 1960 3ft Westinghouse gold lamp.

My oldest incandescent bulb is a 1940s Royal Eddiswan low voltage 60w golf ball lamp with a small bayonet cap.

My oldest bus lamp is a 22w 24v b22 base golf ball lamp which I got off a Routemaster bus. It is the only Routemaster factory-lengthened bus that still has its original saloon lights and is unrefurbished.

I have some 200watt clear GLS, with brass E27 caps, I think they are from the 50s.
They all have `British Railways` printed on them, and their all MAZDA branded.
My oldest HID is my 400watt Philips MB/Us, from 1962.

My oldest Fluorescent lamps are 14 NOS PHILIPS TL 25W/22 tubes, still wrapped in treir cardboard sleves, manufactured in July 1950.

There are a lot of more GE, Sylvania and Philips tubes from the 50's in my collection.

The oldest Incandescent lamps are probably from the 1920's made by Philips.

The oldest LPS is a NOS GEC 90W from the end of the 70's

Oldest MH is from the late 70's.

Oldest HPS from the mid 70's

Oldest MV probably from the late 50's or early 60's.

Probably the Cryselco 80W Natural white bayonet capped fluorescent I rescued from the recycling centre this evening.  Expect photos of that shortly.

Wasn't exactly planning on picking it up - but once I spotted a BC capped tube in there, I had to dig it out and rescue it.

I HAD some NOS 20 watt Daylight and White Mazda fluorescents and I donated them to the Yorktown Museum in Charleston,SC.  I had a desklamp with brass ended white Sylvania bulbs but lost those in my 2006 fire. I have some GE "white" bulbs, one older than the other. I have a GE 15 and 30 watt T8 that says "standard cool white". I have a 1950 or so GE 2 lamp 40 watt fixture with the original bulbs that show just a "sign" of aging.  And a black ended Sylvania 40 watt preheat bulb. All 3 of these are daylight. The GE bulbs will not light on a rapid start fixture, the Sylvania will.  The ballast in this GE fixture is GIANT. Wiring looks new and after being on for hours the ballast gets only mildly warm! I used to have a lot of other bulbs but they went away in the fire...

OH I do have an almost new cool white Mainlighter. 2 Sylvania Lifeline cool greens and I forgot 2 70's Westinghouse F-40N bulbs.

Powell, welcome to LG. Sorry to hear about your loss, but looks like some stuff survived? Anyway sounds like you have a nice collection, could you please take pics of your industrial unit with the original lamps? Several fluorescent nuts on LG would love to see your stuff!

Oldest bulb: National Lamp Works gas filled Mazda lamp, 75W, 112v, circa 1918.
Oldest lamp: Line Material "squat body" HV series street light with non-dished radial wave reflector.
Oldest MV: Westinghouse OV-20, late 40s.
Oldest Cobrahead: GE M-400 with original "push" latch.
Oldest traffic signal: Harrington-Seaberg fixed 4-way w/ down light, circa late 1920s.

Incandescent: Franklin Electric (FEMCo) carbon filament lamp (right rear in photo) - presumably early 1900s

Fluorescent: GE Mazda 20W Daylight - 4Q/1941

As of about a week ago, both still work.
