A square fluorescent bulb warm white « on: August 03, 2014, 03:05:44 PM » Author: Larry
Here is a GE warm white square fluorescent bulb from the 1960s ;D.
Too bad these bulbs never became popular as they really would look nice in a fancy modern office environment.
I understand that there were problems with them keeping their seal after being in service for a while.
The correct GE ballast for this bulb is GE 7G3733 Bonus Line, but I don't know where you would find one. :D
I am into T17s, or I would be interested in this bulb. :P

That is $53.11 for each square bulb in todays money.

That could add up at bulb replacement time. :o
If a room had ten bulbs to replace it would cost $531. plus labor :o
This also could have been part of the reason for being discontinued.
