I am in Madison, WI, willing to travel a bit, not sure if these things are shippable or not. 

If they made single tube egg crates that would be ideal.  Not sure if such a thing exists.

I am brand new to vintage fluorescent lights.  I will post a longer thread in another forums with an introduction and pictures, but the short version is-- I hung two 8' 1960s egg crates in my workshop and I love them, they're taking me back to a million childhood memories, but I also have two 4' fixtures in my workshop, wouldnt it be cool if they were all egg crate?

Hey, Im in Milwaukee. Egg crate is available everywhere for about $12 a sheet, just cut it to fit whatever fixture (recessed troffer) you have. Most troffers that come with the prismatic diffuser can be replaced with egg crate. Single tube recessed fixtures are available at Graybar or Hein, I believe theyre 8" wide.

Would it be possible to ship it to me?  I can drive  a few hours, but not to Texas!
