If they are new old stock, that is a decent price.  If they are used, not such a great deal.

Do the big box stores in Canada not carry 75-watt Slimlines? The ones in the USA do. Anyway, the price he gave you is about $7.50 USD per lamp, which is a little more expensive than buying 2-packs of Philips Alto /DX lamps at Home Depot here. Given that they're NOS and vintage GE, I'd say it's a fair price. Wouldn't want to pay too much more than that, though.

It can really depend on if you have box stores in your area.  Back home, the nearest hardware store of any proximity (still 70mi away even then) is a True Value, and only carries the 60w GE HL41 slimlines, so you could say 75w lamps are unavailable that area unless you special order them online.  I've priced out shipping for some basic, nothing-special 75w Daylight Deluxe or Cool White Deluxe and it's easily upwards of 200 dollars for a case of 15 shipped, if they even survive or if the vendor ships to my location, many don't.
