I just love these starters and I'm happy that I was able to get these pretty cheap. Only 26EUR for two pakcs. I have been trying to find ST172's but for some reason those are much harder to find (not that these are very popular either) but I think that I have enought of these for now.

btw. Does DEOS mean something or is it abbreviation from something? just wondering where that comes.

I don't know what DEOS means, but this appears only on the safety starters with the thermal cutout of the starters, which disconnects them at lamp EOL, and you have to press the button after relamping.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

Deos is a form of the Latin noun Deo which means God. Not sure of the connection between God and starters, maybe from the ballast's point of view the DEOS starters are viewed as a saviour !
