F6T5-D color comparison

F6T5-D color comparison

Both lamps are used in Eveready portable lanterns and are lamp type F6T5-D. However, the one on the left is a Philips and produces the typical 6500K daylight lamp color like all my other 6500K lamps. The one on the right is a generic brand and is very blue - almost like an 8000K Skywhite, and color rendering is much poorer. A very strange lamp though I kind of like it. The photo is rendering the colors exactly as my eye saw it.

I have a couple F4T5 tubes that look a lot like this, these generic lamps are pretty interesting!
