Thrift store find. Lamp came in a dark red & white GE sleeve with a magnetic ballast adapter with a ratcheting socket, 13w 2700K lamp that looks like it was made by Sylvania, and a lamp retaining collar to prevent the lamp from being stolen or falling out of the adapter (it fits quite loosely). Ballast is quite noisy.

Interesting, the lamp is held in with screws! While these are neat that high-pitched buzz annoys me. I have some rather odd 'Synergizer' ones here: http://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=2335&pos=13&pid=128168
