Lights of America Super Q'Lite 27w

Lights of America Super Q'Lite 27w

The proprietary Lights of America modular CFLs were a nice concept, not well executed. There were two versions of the 27w model of which this is the later, lower-profile one; the lamp itself is shown here. The lamp is made by Panasonic in Japan and is a T5 tube which is so long it really doesn't fit in many light fixtures. It is difficult to remove from the adapter without damage. The one I had before killed the adapter when the lamp blew, though it is rated "60,000 hours." A nice piece of U.S. CFL history.
