General Electric Soft White 3 Way Security 20/135/155w

I came along at the aisle looking for something else by the lighting shelves area and came across an unusual 3-way security bulb. This is the first time they made the higher wattage for the security light setting. This was found at Publix at Woodlawn Point Shopping Center, East Cobb, Marietta, GA, USA last Sunday (2016-3-20). This bulb set me back US$ 4.95.

Neat find! These used to have a 15 watt filament for the low setting. Really versatile as it's a night light and a bright reading light all in one

I wander if the "38" is the same date code system as on the USA made 3-way bulbs that we've both posted. My guess is that it means 38th week of the year (September), but I don't know for sure.

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents!
