Sylvania Supersaver Halogen Light Bulbs

Sylvania Supersaver Halogen Light Bulbs

Unlike CFL's, this is one energy-efficient light source I can endorse. These light bulbs are the energy-efficient substitutes for the standard 100 watt incandescent lamps that will be illegal to manufacture on the first of the new year. I have put two of the four in the box in service in my reading lamp next to my chair and in my stove hood. These bulbs have all the benefits of incandescent, 100% power factor, instant on, pleasant color rendition, they work in any environment, and are fully dimmable. Plus, they are made right here in the United States of America, unlike Chinese CFL crap.

You are lucky that your main voltage halogen capsules (The main halogen source that used in today's energy saving halogen lamps) are better than our.
Because of your 120V in the US and Canada, the filament of your is shorter, so it is similar to the 12V halogens (Vertical), in contrast to the filament to our mains voltage capsules which stretched on a bridge on the upper part of the capsule, because of it long length. This approach causes only the parts of the filament not in contact to the bridge to light, causes lower lm/w efficieny and a similar color temperature to a regular incandescent lamp (2800K).
Also, i heard that most of the european mains voltage capsules have lower life than incandescents.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.
