Got a pair of these for free at an antique store that is now closing. Only one works, it's the lamp photographed here. Note the old W logo before the dot W logo came along.

Very nice lamp you've got there, Dave! Was this lamp in use before the store closed? I believe that very soon, you will have two other Westy blackenders of this approximate vintage to add to your collection!

Actually the store is having a going out of biz sale right now. The old Westys were used in a crappy LOA shoplight. That was prolly hard on the lamps, no wonder there's so much blackening.

May all the great lighting technologies have their place in history.
