I've been looking for a clear reflector R30 CFL for a long time since I broke an old Sunpark one I had. I ordered two LOA ones earlier this year that were pictured as having triple-U tubes inside, but the seller shipped me crappy frosted spiral ones instead. These would be just the ticket if they were the "dim from the start" version.

I'm lampin...

Oh, so you could watch the tube warm up? Oh I just realized...is there an A-shape cover over the spiral inside the R30?

I saw these at Wal-Mart as well.

@ace100w120v, there is no cover over the spiral just the R-30 bulb.
