The only cool thing about those is how they work. (Induction) in fact thats what the utility company swapped out the 2 vintage "Admirals hat" streetlights on my street and around town with. I was mad when I realized they were gone. Actually if I was home at the time, I would have tried to get one of the hats. The remaining hats and gumball streetlights are dissappearing from the American landscape fast. Its a shame but I guess we have to keep up with technology of today.

Thats a sick looking fixture there considering its induction a proper lantern design itself with canopy colour/shape, the reflector optics better than these blessed decorative/fake ones seen in COB floodlights. Proper lighting for ya!

I will give LEDisease a taste of my shoe

These were popular in New Jersey to the point that they named the fixture the "Jersey Series". A while ago an eBay seller apparently had pallets full of them. I talked him into listing them separately and I bought two and I think a few others here might have also.

The lamp can well be a ripoff of the Sylvania Icetron. We have here some lanterns with this style of square inductions, that aren't Osram Endura/Sylvania Icetron, but a chinese ripoff.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

That lamp inside IS Sylvania's Icetron.

Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech?
LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).

LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

Here are pictures of generic induction lanterns , with lamps that looks like Sylvania Icetron or Osram Endura, but aren't Icetron/Endura (The induction coils looks different than the ones inside the Icetron/Endura).
