I was called out to a light that hadn`t worked for ages!, can you guess why?
I`ve no clue who installed this, but it was someone who didn`t quite understand HPS lamps!

Looks like a former halogen floodlight was there before this HPS floodlight came along and someone forgot to remove the motion sensor

That would be a sensible explanation, but from what I have been told, it was installed like this from scratch!

Current: UK 230V, 50Hz
Power provider: e.on energy
Street lighting in our town: Philips UniStreet LED
