Very cool find!

I have one of these blackenders in 36W but its sadly EOL, id love to get a working krypton T8 blackender someday

im not sure I have seen a 5ft one with black end caps before!

I wonder if any 6ft 70W ones exist?

(it would be interesting to know what the story is behind blackenders ie why some mfg switched to them then eventually switched back etc)

these early Krypton T8's with black ends are especially cool, the very start of a new type of tube built with the components of yesteryear

My other hobby is buses, especially the Routemaster

This looks like GTE Sylvania lamp. Never seen GTE Sylvania with this logo made outside the US for the European market, and in krypton T8.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

Whoa dude! That is an awesome find! Endcaps looks like they were sourced from Tež Tesla from Czechoslovakia. They used to have black bakelite endcaps used on t8 and t12 tubes back in 1970s and 1980s

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes.
We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;
