So yesterday, I went to this pedestrian sign to see whats happened with the 250W HPS lamp inside it, after seen it not working for a while.
Well, it turned out that it began to cycle in mercury color without reaching to HPS color. I've never seen a HPS that initially cycling and reaching to HPS color before the next cycle, that transforming to a blue cycler like this.
The hot restrike is unusually short for this type of cycles (One min average only), and when the lamp restrikes, it flickering 50hz and rectifying for only 14 sec before extinguishing and starting the next cycle. Unusually short for a 250W HPS lamp, and reminds this Polamp 70W HPS lamp
Most 250W blue cyclers I've seen, restrikes after 4-5 min if not more.
