Hey, now you have some victory lamps to go with the victory gin and the victory coffee

Pretty cool though, I've always fancied some uv or blb CFLs or PLs.

To photograph these safely a pane of glass or upturned casserole dish would do I think?

Yes I always change the lamps in my pump once a year. I'll stick one of these in my 400w MBI low-bay luminaire. It's safety glass should come in handy to get some nice shots of the arc and hot electrodes.

UK out of the EU!

whats interesting is that many of these aren't preheat, there is no starter in the base. Most modern UV sterilizers now use an electronic ballast and for whatever reason manufacturers decided to keep the G23 PL format, just omitting the unneeded starter in the lamp
