No date code! Made between 1982 and 1990 - previously a slightly dimmer version was made called Trucolor 37.

A pity that I never found any Trucolor 38 tube till now. I have one TL 40W/37 but that's it. Trucolor 37 is a very nice color and I will be happy if I find any /38 tube a day...

Proteus, I believe that these tubes never have been available here in Switzerland. I'm still looking after a tube with colour 57. that would be a very nice one. Sadly that my old TL40W/57 dissappeared some time ago! Don't know what happened to it.

Oh I'd so love to have a 57. Btw the old trucolor 37 provided less output than 38, but its CRI of 98 compares favourably with 38's CRI of 'only' 92.
