I recently installed a Fitzgerald twin 100w T12 lightpack in my garage but I had only the two German-made Sylvania lamps that it came with.
A local firm had changed their lighting scheme and were selling off their stock of obsolete lamps so I decided to pick a few up for my personal stores.

They turned out to be these. I've never heard of Light Emission Technologies and they are made in the U.S.A.
What do our American friends reckon? These any good?

Interesting that they have earth strips on them too. I'm assuming because they have the earthing strip, they are "special application" lamps and thus exempt from the import/manufacture ban on T12 lamps.

Any idea if they make these themselves or get somebody to make them for them?
Caps look very much like European-made Philips.

Medved said that T12 lamps weren't banned. The manufacturers simply decided to stop manufacturing them.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

Very unusual! The strip will serve absolutely no purpose on a 100W tube so it's got to just be there to get round the bans. Look like decent quality tubes!

Lush! Looks like they were made by Interlectric Corportation in Warren, PA. They use Philips end caps, but most I've seen use the American Philips end caps.

I was in the hardware shop this afternoon and I noticed that they were selling China made LET 40w 4ft T12 tubes for £15 each, they looked poor quality with the usual cheap shiny caps!

I'm always interested in exchanging lamps - send me a message to see what we could trade :)

£15 for a four foot lamp? That's worse of a ripoff than B&Q!
