Time to look for vintage/usable ones!

-Date decoder of most US lamps 1960-present.

-Collects all types of lights.

I'll save any vintage lamp... dead or alive! Smiley

Idk man. I know that its outside and that the new type of phosphor used in these lamps is not toxic but still, THAT'S A LOT OF MERCURY IN THAT PILE! I would be searching trough that pile on intervals of 5 mins and 10 mins of fresh air.

I don't know if it is true, but I read somewhere that older CFLs used a crapton of mercury.

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes.
We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;

Geez imagine how much mercury is going to leak into the ground if this isn't taken care of...

Yeh, I mean, at least put some tarp under it and dump them all on it, it would be easier to clean up the toxic glassy sharp mess. . .

Eh. Not enough mercury to do any harm.

The more you hate the LED movement, the stronger it becomes.

More dangerous is evaporated mercury, especially on hot summer days there is may be some in the air around there. But something like this is a shame to our environment! No responsibility at all!
