Luma 18w thermos fluorescent lamp.

This one is a thermo fluorescent lamp ment to be used in cold environment like freezer or outdoor. I guess this is some early production model from Luma as it's different than all the others I've seen. Basically, this is normal fluorescent lamp inside as there is no any extra designations on the etch (cw=cool white, LL=long life). Extra glass jacket has been used with white rubber-like seals at the ends.

I dont know how to decode Luma(Aura) datecodes so I dont know how old it is. I think it's from 80 since it must have been made only after t8 energy savers was invented but before Luma changed it's name to Aura. Unfortunately it's not working, one of the cathodes has broken.

If you can, just short the broken electrode side and perhap try to start the bulb

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.
