Airam L20W-2X kirkas de luxe

My first 20W CWX lamp. You can still find old 40W and 65W Airam lamps pretty easily but for some reason old 20W T12 Airam lamps are quite rare. Maybe because they never were as popular as bigger wattages.

And god this is dim although it appears being nos or very slightly used, but that's how CWX lamps are

I found Airam Kuulas de luxe: https://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastcom&cat=13023&pos=11&pid=162692 The tube of the picture is probably newer.

I noted too, that old 20W tubes are rare. I have none, only some modern one.

Yes it is. I've wanted one for a long time as 20W is short enought to be a display item.

Hay Roi....might be dim...and even worse outside in Rovaniemi in December...but if it were the only light on at that time it would be positively radiant!

Beautiful tube with very stylish etch by the way.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

It could be a big win to found Airam made coloured fluorescent tube: https://issuu.com/cyrilbarrow/docs/itsu__1965/98 Was available only 40 W in colours red 101, green 105 and blue 109. Blue is some photo copying lamp? It was available 25 W too.

There was probably a Yellow one too. Interesting how the numbers are not consecutive. Philips had their own number system too..
03 was far violet for printing
05 was UV
08 was UV 365nm
09 was UV 365nm with Wood's Glass
15 was red
16 was yellow
17 was green
18 was blue
29 was 3000K white
33 was 4000K white
37 was 5500K white

and there were many more. (In 20w 2' and 40W 4' T12). Makes me wonder if Airam's range was wider than we think also.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

Many of the more special types may have been available by order only, and not as stock item.

I don’t know, if this is some ”quick catalog”, but yellow is not listed. On previous page found complete range of basic colour fluorescents.
