As per a previous post, I finally lit one of these up- they are indeed some sort of actual triphosphor. Colors are rendered distinctly better.

Nice! I have some 3000k warm white versions in F6, F8, and F13T5 for my undercabinet lights. They were cheap so I stocked up on them, as someday when I get my own house I'd like to use my t5 undercabinet lights in the kitchen. Mine are also triphosphor, which was a welcomed surprise, despite the package actually saying triphosphor. I didn't believe it because they're cheap outsourced lamps. Hopefully they last long!
