I think the GE POWR/BRACKET(on left) is more graceful than the boxy AE ballast in arm model.

Big contrast, GE Powr Bracket and American Electric 165.

The GE Powr/Bracket with the 16" UFO refractor was my favorite, but I loved seeing both when I was younger! Still a couple AE 165 in service here but all remaining Powr/Brackets are out of service, as far as I know of.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Got two reserved from power company. I hope they don't forget when they take them down. They are still mercury.

I tried getting some from power company here, but they just told me they weren't worth messing with when they replace them. I guess a nice way of saying "we don't want to deal with issues of letting you have any"

You are probably right. This was an REA Co-op that I talked to in my home town.
