Glade "Plug-Ins" with night light

Glade "Plug-Ins" with night light

After the Glade "Plug-Ins" night light burned out. Turned out that S. C. Johnson no longer sell these night light anymore :(

I took this apart and found two filaments in parallel to assist brighter light instead of one filaments in the bulb. I also found a resistor inside the body to heat the scented oil package and it measured approximately 11.65 kiloOhms. That turned out to be a 1.25 Watts of heat.

Desoldering the old bulb and soldering in a new one is not too hard...

I have one of these Glade Plug-Ins that I got somewhere but the night light is just a little neon bulb I suspect with an orange lens.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.
