Tonight's finds!

Three Sylvania Lifelines, some Christmas lights, two universal ballasts, a hammered GE LU70, a barely used 400W Sodium lamp, and FINALLY FOUND A DAMN 1000W M42/S52 BALLAST!!! (apparently it supports both Sodium and metal halide lamps, which I suppose means it can properly run a 1000W merc.. Aka my Sylvania GTE!)

I also need an H36 or an M57 ballast to light my 1kW Mercury lamps.

-Date decoder of most US lamps 1960-present.

-Collects all types of lights.

I'll save any vintage lamp... dead or alive!

Niiice, you finally got a 1KW MH ballast! Your HPS ballast should also work for halides and mercs with the ignitor disconnected.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

Really? I didn't know that... I had assumed 1000w HPS ballast was out of spec.... Well Atleast now j don't have to worry about disconnecting ignitors and what not! I got a dedicated ballast I can check it off my list of wanted items! Now i just need a 1500W ballast for my musco lamp.

I can't wait to find more bulbs for it, once I fill all the sockets I will string it up in my room (or I may just string it up anyway with missing bulbs)
