According to what Andrew said me. This lamp (And all other SLs) is dosed with amalgam. Despite this, Philips didn't stated this lamp as mercury free or liquid mercury free, but that the lamp can operate at 90% preformance in its operating temperature.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

Maybe because when these lamps were more popular the world didn't give a cr*p about the amount of mercury in fluorescent lamps like they do now, so there was no point in advertising something as 'mercury free' when no-one cared about it.

Traffic signals & street lighting engineer. Please bring SOX/LPS back Downunder!!
