Thanks too bad. I love the old school rounded case. And these are NPF too, right? Cant see why they'd overheat and leak if the proper lamps are running off them.

They work. I'm afraid of catastrophic failure as these were at the paintball field running all day. I still have them as I am not tossing them.

Ballasts this old may just be tired, especially if they were subjected to high ambient temperatures, lets say 80 + for years. Not sure what the ambient temp was where these were. Also, maybe all the wear from near EOL lamps weakened them... Still strange as these were built like tanks

The bad thing about these ballasts. I got these NOS. They never had a EOL lamp.
