Philips 72 Watt Twice The Life

Philips 72 Watt Twice The Life

Replaced at work. This is the first one of these to burn out. I would guess it probably lasted close to its 2,000 hour rated life. The capsule inside can be seen here.

Ugh, isn't this one of the low lumens rating here?

That is what the tradeoff for the life of the bulb with a cost of its lumens rating.

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Yep. These are a good replacement for a 75W bulb, but they are noticeably dimmer than a 100W.
The quality of these proved to be decent - only a couple of them dimmed out (capsule blackening).

Pride and quality workmanship should lie behind manufacturing, not greed.

From the Pabjanice plant in Poland, the same place this is from.

Cool! I found a 60 watt incandescent version of this with that same inkjet style etch. These are great quality bulbs from my experience.

This one may have been made in Piła or Pabianice, main Philips factory is in Piła, but as far as I know they still produce halogens in Pabianice
