Failed led lamp

Bought in 2011, this is the second Philips lamp showing the same failure of the other: leds foward voltage increased too much.

Both led chips are connected in parallel (i suppose), each chip consist in an while COB led surrounded by 4 strings of red leds for increasing red output.

This failed lamp present 107V at the connections, it runs at 70mA.

Here you can see my (successful) attempt to repair one led by shorting one (burnt) red led string.

p.s. black bars are caused by my iPhone 4s, which flash is out of sync with camera.
