OK, the no-trash-can disease has spread to these too it seems. At least they're still USA-made, so they may actually be decent lamps.

Apparently they did change the order code, thoug!

The no-trash-can disease has also spread to CFLs.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.

I've seen that on CFLs for years, but linear fluorescents in the US seem to be a new thing. I bought the last old-green-etch C50s Fred Meyer had last night...I just can't stand the new etch. Picked the one above up just as a sample of the evolution of the F20T12/C50 through the years but I can't stand the etch.

Weird, i have a bunch of newer CFLs that don't have it. (Newer = made within the past 2 years)

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.

I see what you mean about the new etch.

I prefer the "original" green etch for sure.

My favourite etch is the original with GENERAL (GE) ELECTRIC as the header.

We do not have to agree on anything to be kind to one another. The ability to be civil is available to everyone on earth, for free.

Likewise, or the one that just superceded that, the large, black, "meatball".
