The ballast inside the adapter looks like magnetic, as there is a beating effect of the mains frequency at full brightness, as well as 60hz hum.
The lamp warm-up looks similar to the Philips SDW-T, but is slower than it.

Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

This is definitely a potential buy for me. I actually can't not buy it. Definitely magnetic...
it's so weird though seeing a sodium lamp transition from that orange glow to a more pure white
glow. I'm so use to seeing them do the complete opposite.
Thanks for taking the video btw. This is actually more entertaining than my CMH start ups.
I will be making plans to buy one on Ebay very soon.

This reminds me my first encounter with white HPS lamps: When I was a teen, there was a shop during a renovation at Grand Canyon (Today Ofer Grand Canyon) mall, which had several 400W probe-start MH lowbays, and several small fixtures supposedly for single ended compact MH lamps, and they cycled the power to the shop. To my surprise, the small fixtures restruck much faster than I expected to be, and in orange sodium color rather than bluish mercury color, so it turned out to me that they have white HPS lamps.

I remember these white HPS light fixtures in the Golf Mill Shopping Center at Niles, IL, USA in the 1990s

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

I saw a listing for an in-ground light that used this exact same lamp on eBay. It was only $30, and I really regret passing on it.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.
