Strange problem at my mother A/C

Strange problem at my mother A/C

When I turned on the A/C of my mother at heating mode, the compressor produces louder noise than usual, than its working frequency gets lower and lower until it stops.
What causes this?

Check the electrics - Maybe the run capacitor became marginal exactly to the point that it still starts (most units in Israel dont have start capacitors, they start with the run capacitor), but does not have enough torque to continue once it builds up pressure, or some resistive fault along the supply (bad connection) making the same effect

Check if the radiator in the indoor unit starts getting cold in the area near the expansion valve - If not - maybe clogged expansion valve or reversing valve (or closed allen key valve where the liquid line connects to the outdoor unit, but i dont think anyone tampered with that)

Dont try to start it like that multiple times - you are stressing the compressor mechanically, and if it does not trip the breaker or get switched off otherwise immediately when it stops - it is stressed electrically too

This A/C operated for long time with low amount of refrigerant, because of leakage.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.
