Does anyone know why that tiny hole is on the glass holder tube of the lense of the support wires?

it's a exhaust tube, where they pump out the air and fill the lamp with argon gas.

It seems I haven't managed to explain what I thought about.
The tiny hole right next to the lense of the filament holders.

Do you mean on the Glass tube near the filament support wires, if yes I have had a look at this lamp and it just seems to be a bubble of glass, possibly happened during the manufacturing of the lamp.

Yes, I thought at that. One time I saw a very thin bubble of glass there, as you mentioned. But what do you think the bubble was caused by? I think that can be the reason why the tiny hole is for.
