Have you tried lighting it Colin? I have a fairly similar-looking Amglo lamp which I always believed was a xenon flash tube - but discovered that it is in fact neon-filled and emits a bright red light!

Hi James to be honest, I dont have the Component's etc. to fire this Strobe Lamp, and can't find or don't have any literature for this Strobe Lamp. all I know is Amglo supply Lamps and Strobes to the Aircraft and Airport applications.

If you have some kind of Van de Graaf generator, you can see what kind of discharge on the strobe tube

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.
