Red boxes are sold at Canadian Tire for about 10 bucks. The white ones are sold at The Home Hardware for $10 or so.

White box are made by Inliten LLC but license the Sylvania name, the red ones are branded 'For Living' and imported/ distributed by Trileaf.

All are made in china. Despite this the quality seems ok and there are no duds

Those Chinese bulbs usually have stamp at the bottom of the base. Check to see if they have it.

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

I have a few C7 sets and more than half of the lights on them are burned out now. I didn't even notice just how bad it had gotten until I finished putting them up outside yesterday. They have the frosted lamps which I much prefer over the clear ones, but I can't seem to find bulk packages of frosted C7 bulbs like this anywhere.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

This is still a CFL- and LED-free zone!

Try the following links:

I bought a lot of them as they are unavailable in Europe and seem to be phased out in the U.S. soon. (Now they do LED, but I am not so keen on that). When I discovered Teal and Pink I had to order again. Avoid Gold, it is the same as yellow. Amber is the better choice. I go for the clear versions.

Thanks, I'll probably order from there.
