This lamp have only one starting probe. Have this lamp a neon-argon penning, to allow starting directly from mercury choke without ignitor at all (Like the Philips HPI-BUS)?

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

It strikes almost instantly when connected to a plain 400w Mercury ballast.

UK out of the EU!

One can know if this lamp have a neon-argon penning, if the lamp glow red during ignition. Probe-start MH lamps for M59 ANSI ballast, can also sometime operate with mercury choke without ignitor, but they wont soon fail to strike, as they require higher OCV.

I will have to see how this bulb will behave on American H33 ballasts if I get such a bulb.

Say NO to ballast and bulb bans. MV, MH, HPS, and SOX forever!!!! Magnetic preheat fluorescent forever!!!!!

Desire to collect various light bulbs (especially HID), ballasts, and fixtures from around the world.

That one is a proper quality lamp, and the fact that it spontaneously ignites at the 230 V mains voltage on a series choke ballast is evidence of the very low level of impurity in the burner. It's a real shame those lamps are no longer made (Sylvania ended their production in July 2017).
