I have two just like this one that I bought locally for a HUGE amount of money before I realised I could buy them from the USA for around a third the price. I think they were A$90 each + postage whereas the ones from the USA (UK-made Philips) are around US$30 each + postage.

It's mad that you can buy something 10,000 miles away and it still works out cheaper.
I know a guy in Victoria who buys all his car parts and stuff from the UK for a fraction of the price!

I think I pay less for a bottle of Bundy in the UK too!

I have a Focus and it's much cheaper to buy parts for it from the UK than to buy locally too. I haven't had to yet as it's only a 2007 model but when I do it'll be UK eBay for me.

I also know that Australian cars sent to the USA are cheaper to buy there than they are here, and they have more options too.
