Wow! Look at these two beauties! They looks like made of cristal glass!

Lovely clear photo of these, nice clear arc tubes! I find the reflective coating on my modern Osram and Philips SOX lamps makes it hard to get a clear shot. I'll have to try with more diffuse lighting.

The GEC SOX lamps are having a very clear smoth envelope and arctube. They are very nice!

I take the vast majority of photos under a surface-mount twin 36w T8 Cat 2 fitting with Narva 965 lamps. Gives a lovely uniform light.
I also close the aperture of the camera right down to maximise the depth of field. Tripod is a must.

Mine are taken under whatever lighting I have on in the room at the time, usually the clear merc in the uplighter
