I love it FSB! Al was able to get a Philips one for me a few months ago and I love it. This one seems to be of a really high build quality.

Very nice, as James said I was able to get him a new Philips one although as you say the quality of the older ones like this was top notch. James's one is working in a converted 80w MBF/U streetlight with an 18w fluorescent ballast and an S10 starter. Works perfectly.

Traffic signals & street lighting engineer. Please bring SOX/LPS back Downunder!!

Well said FSB! Yep, Al did a great job at helping me to get my 18watt SOX all set up in the 80MV streetlight, it works great, puts out HEAPS of light for such a small lamp and I love it! I use it every night outside my shed

We had a 'brown out' across Toowoomba on Monday night and it was enough to knock out all the MV streetlights in my neighbourhood, the sodium down the road was fine, and my Urban 18watt SOX just clicked back on with no trouble at all - it was awesome to see the little SOX shining across the dark neighbourhood.
